Stacking The Shelves #6

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's review where we showcase our new books for the week.

BOUGHT

Everneath by Brodi Ashton
The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa

I only got two books this week! Amazing, right! I'm trying really hard to cut back on my book buying, especially because I definitely don't read anywhere near fast enough to be buying 8 books a week. I've heard some pretty good things about these two books, especially The Immortal Rules. They were both on special for about $7 each (in hardcover!) so I couldn't pass them up :D

What did you get this week?

    1. LOL! No you don't! I was just incredibly lucky that these were temporarily marked down. Books are normally insanely priced here. Most paperbacks are anywhere from $20 - $38!!

    2. Yeah,I know that. That is why I always buy paperbacks. The only HB I got was for The Golden Lily and that was because it was like 5euros. I pre-ordered it about a year ago.

My copy of Everneath is sitting on my shelf under the piles of TBR books haha but I really really liked The Immortal Rules and I can't wait for you to start it! Amazing haul and happy reading :)

    1. Shop at Whitcoulls more!! Have you seen their Container Book Deals?! Most of the books are $2-$5 (some $10) and it's normally buy 3 get the 4th free! It's been on for quite a while though so I don't know if it's still any good to check out. It varies from store to store though because I bought Hush, Hush for $10 at one store and at another Whitcoulls in town it was only $5 >.< But definitely keep an eye out there for some good books :D That's why my hauls have been so big lately. lol. Wither was only $5 in hardcover but I had just bought the $12 paperback online ):

    2. So apparently my previously typed comment didn't show and now I have to rewrite it :/ But anyway, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TELLING ME! If they hadn't raised the driving age limit to 16, I would definitely be on my way to Whitcoulls right now haha! I mean, Wither for $5!??!? Ahhh, I seriously need to check this out! I can't believe I didn't know about all these awesome bargains *cries*

    3. No problem :D I love telling people about it actually! haha. The stock varies from store to store and they bring new ones in regularly (at 1 out of the 3 stores in my city they do A LOT) (:
